Reflections On Our First Year

Just a few words… There are SO many little victories that were celebrated; launching the website, showing up on a Google search, installing and loading the wall of shelving, our first referral, our first appearance at a bridal show, our first Etsy order, our first magazine publication, our first styled shoot, our first mention on the radio, our first wedding, purchasing our dish delivery vehicle, our first charity event, and many more…  And as we celebrated even the smallest hurdle, it was with anticipation that someday we would look back and it would seem very quaint even though it felt so enormous in the moment.

Every small business functions as a part of a community and I am grateful that this small business was able to grow in a country where the entrepreneurial spirit is celebrated and supported.  I’ve met many new faces and have met enthusiasm for this idea at every turn.  I want to thank all of the wedding professionals that have boosted me up and all of the new clients that gave me a try. And without the support of my family and friends, this would not have been possible.

Looking forward to year number two!  There are bigger dreams and many more tables to be set!
